    Sony Announces PlayStation The Concert – World Tour 2025-2026

    Sony Interactive Entertainment announced PlayStation The Concert – World Tour 2025-2026, a concert series brought to fans in partnership with RoadCo Entertainment and GEA Live. The global tour will begin on April 15, 2025 in Dublin, Ireland, and the tour will come to more than 200 cities in Europe, US, UK, and more regions.

    PlayStation The Concert – World Tour 2025-2026 will feature music from God of War, The Last of Us, Ghost of Tsushima, Horizon, and many other franchises to celebrate 30 years of PlayStation. Fans can expect “a stunning fusion of multi-layered visuals, immersive surround sound, and an all-star ensemble blending classical and modern instruments.” 

    Thus far, the 2025 tour schedule includes Dublin, Ireland – Glasgow, Scotland, London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle, UK – Amsterdam, Netherlands – Paris, Amnéville, France – Antwerp, Brussels, Belgium – Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Berlin, Hamburg, Dusseldorf, Leipzig, Munich, Oberhausen, Germany – Zurich, Switzerland – Bologna, Italy – Budapest, Hungary – Sofia, Bulgaria – Vienna, Austria – Bratislava, Slovakia – Prague, Czech Republic – Lodz, Poland – Copenhagen, Denmark – Gotenburg, Sweden – Oslo, Norway – Tampere, Finland. More tour dates will be announced at a later date.

    Early tickets will be on sale starting October 16 at 7:00 a.m. PT / 10:00 a.m. ET on the official website. The code PLAYCONCERT24 must be used for early access to ticket purchases. 

    Just a few weeks later, Sony will release the new PlayStation 5 Pro console on November 7 starting at $699.99. The new PS5 Pro aims to deliver smooth 60 FPS with high fidelity visuals, essentially giving both benefits of Fidelity and Performance modes found on PS5 at once. To do this, the console has a GPU with 67% more compute units and 28% faster memory. This gives a 45% boost in rendering.
