Limited Run Games announced it will release physical editions of SEGA and RGG Studio’s Yakuza Kiwami for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Standard edition copies will be sold for $34.99 in the Limited Run Games Store, and pre-orders close on November 10 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
A Yakuza Kiwami Classic Edition will be sold for $74.99 featuring a physical copy (PC version comes with Steam key), spot glass premium box with slipcover, the official soundtrack, collectible acrylic standee, Mesuking cards, and character cards.
Yakuza Kiwami is coming to Nintendo Switch on October 24, marking the franchise’s debut on the platform. It will likely pave the way for more Yakuza titles to come to the platform, thanks to its low $19.99 price and launch alongside the Like a Dragon: Yakuza Prime Video series. Digital pre-orders for Yakuza Kiwami are now live in the Nintendo eShop on Switch and browsers.
Yakuza Kiwami is currently available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One worldwide. Lastly, here’s a description of Yakuza Kiwami, via Steam:
1995, Kamurocho… Kazuma Kiryu, the Dragon of Dojima, takes the fall for the murder of a crime boss to protect his sworn brother, Akira Nishikiyama, and his childhood friend, Yumi.
2005… Akira Nishikiyama has become a changed man. Yumi is nowhere to be found. Ten billion yen has gone missing from the Tojo Clan’s coffers, putting the organization on the brink of civil war. And Kazuma Kiryu is released from prison to a world he no longer recognizes.
With enhanced gameplay, an expanded cinematic story, the return of the battle styles from Yakuza 0, more nightlife spots, and re-recorded audio by the series cast, Yakuza Kiwami is the ultimate and most “extreme” version of the original vision of the series.
