Shinobu Takayama’s Haigakura manga was serialized from 2008 to 2015 in Ichijinsha’s Comic ZERO-SUM EXTRA WARD magazine. After the Ichijinsha magazine ceased publication, the manga continued its run on the ZERO-SUM Online website.
The story of Haigakura takes place in the world of Senkai. This is a sacred world where immortals and humans live, but it’s on the verge of collapse. Protagonist Ichiyou and his follower Tenkou set out on a journey to search for the four evil gods responsible for bringing ruin to Senkai. Ichiyou is a poet warrior who uses a technique called Kessai to capture such evil gods.
