Type-Moon and French Bread opened its official Melty Blood: Type Lumina 3rd anniversary website and survey. The website presents a timeline for the game following its release on September 30, 2021, while the survey aims to collect valuable player feedback.
Along with the aforementioned timeline, the Melty Blood: Type Lumina 3rd anniversary website contains “Spot the Difference” puzzles that fans may complete for fun. A special hashtag campaign is also live through October 13 at 23:59 JST, allowing fans to win Melty Blood: Type Lumina merchandise for following the game’s social media accounts and posting certain hashtags. The merchandise includes a t-shirt, clear files, postcards, and stickers.
The 3rd anniversary survey will help improve the quality of the game’s service, according to its description. The survey asks general questions about the user’s experience with the game, how they were recommended the title, and what they would like to see for future events. It does not ask about potential DLC characters fans would like to see, however. Fans may submit their responses on the survey before October 7 at 23:59 PDT.
Melty Blood is a spinoff series of Tsukihime, one of the most beloved visual novels by Type-Moon. Developed by French-Bread, this title utilizes pixel graphics in a similar way to the Under Night In-Birth series. This particular release, Type Lumina, takes place 10 days prior to 2021’s Tsukihime -A piece of blue glass moon-. A total of 22 characters are available to choose from, with four coming from Type-Moon’s Fate franchise.
Melty Blood: Type Lumina is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
