The Last of Us Season 2 First Teaser Trailer Released

"If I ever were to lose you, I'd surely lose myself."

To commemorate The Last of Us Day, Warner Bros has released the first teaser trailer for The Last of Us season 2. The second season will adapt the narrative of The Last of Us Part II and feature Pedro Pascal as Joel, Bella Ramsey as Ellie, as well as new actors joining the series. This includes Isabela Merced as Dina, Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, Jeffrey Wright as Isaac, and more. Check out the first trailer for The Last of Us season 2below:

Recently, the creators of the recent The Last of Us TV show, Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann, have revealed the episode count for the series’ second season in a new interview. The season will officially have seven episodes, two less than The Last of Us Season 1. That said, both talked a bit more about the reason for the less episodes, hinting at not just a third season, but a fourth season. They state the following:

“We don’t think that we’re going to be able to tell the story even within two seasons [2 and 3] because we’re taking our time and go down interesting pathways which we did a little bit in Season 1 too. We feel like it’s almost assuredly going to be the case that — as long as people keep watching and we can keep making more television — Season 3 will be significantly larger. And indeed, the story may require Season 4.”

The Last of Us TV show is available now on Max. Additionally, both The Last of Us Part 1 and Part 2 are available on the PlayStation 5. Naughty Dog will likely reveal more about the future of the franchise in the coming months and years.
