SNK and Netmarble announced The King of Fighters AFK, a new mobile RPG being developed by the Netmarble Neo team (The King of Fighters Allstar). A new trailer is also being shown at the SNK booth at Tokyo Game Show 2024, which runs from September 26 to 29 at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.
The King of Fighters AFK will feature iconic characters from the fighting game franchise, reimagined in pixel art graphics that fans may be familiar with from NEO GEO Pocket Color titles. Players may collect characters and battle with a unique combat system that emphasizes strategic play and character development. More details will be revealed on the official teaser site, so stay tuned.

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is playable at SNK’s Tokyo Game Show 2024 booth, so fans can catch the KOF AFK trailer while visiting. The on-site Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves demo features playable characters Rock Howard, Terry Bogard, Preecha, Mai Shiranui, and Vox Reaper. The demo is limited to 20 minutes per person, however.
