Remedy has released the first trailer for the upcoming Alan Wake 2 expansion, titled Alan Wake 2: The Lake House. The second DLC for Alan Wake 2 will release in October. The trailer’s description describes it as follows:
“Dive into a harrowing survival horror experience with the latest expansion for Alan Wake 2, set in an eerie new location on the shores of Cauldron Lake. Within the Federal Bureau of Control’s research station, the Lake House, a catastrophic event has occurred, where reckless experiments have caused reality to collide with the Dark Place. This expansion unfolds parallel to the main game, putting you in the shoes of FBC agent Kiran Estevez, portrayed by Janina Gavankar.”

Remedy initially released Alan Wake in 2010. The game is the latest entry in the connected universe that Remedy Entertainment has cultivated. The franchise includes the first Alan Wake, Quantum Break, and Control. It is unknown if their upcoming co-op game Kestrel will be included in the franchise. Alan Wake 2‘s collector’s edition will also release next month. It will cost $199.99 and will include the season pass, Alan Wake Remastered, an Angel Lamp (that lights up), a 160-page hardcover art book, an enamel pin set, an Oceanview Hotel Keychain, and an Embossed Collector’s Edition Slip-Cover. Alan Wake 2 is available now on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
