SEGA and RGG Studio released a new “Play It Together” commercial for the upcoming release of Yakuza Kiwami, the remake of the first Yakuza/Like a Dragon title, for Nintendo Switch. The Yakuza Kiwami commercial is essentially a brief skit and trailer that highlights the zaniness of the game and its Switch version.

Yakuza Kiwami is coming to Nintendo Switch on October 24, marking the franchise’s debut on the platform. It will likely pave the way for more Yakuza titles to come to the platform, thanks to its low $19.99 price and launch alongside the Like a Dragon: Yakuza Prime Video series.
During RGG Summit, RGG Studio revealed Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, a new Like a Dragon: Gaiden-style spin-off starring Goro Majima. The game will launch on February 28, 2025 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
