Square Enix announced a Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven demo is available now, allowing players to enjoy an early portion of the Romancing SaGa 2 remake. In addition, Square Enix released a new trailer for the game ahead of Tokyo Game Show 2024, which runs from September 26 to 29 at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.
The Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven demo is available in the Nintendo eShop, PlayStation Store, and Steam marketplace, so no platform is missing out. Save data from the demo is transferrable to the full game. Tokyo Game Show 2024 attendees may also try out the game at Square Enix’s booth.

Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven will feature more than 30 different character classes. Each class has its own unique characteristics with different proficiencies for weapons and spells. In addition, the game features a “free form scenario” that lets players progress differently based on the decisions they’ve made.
Ahead of launch, Final Weapon had the opportunity to check out Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven in an in-depth preview. Payne Grist notes that “Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven does an amazing job of preserving the spirit of the original game” while introduces great quality of life features. Lastly, Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven will release on October 24 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. Pre-orders are now available in the Nintendo eShop.
