During Aniplex Online Fest 2024, the company released a new trailer for Madoka Magica -Walpurgisnacht: Rising-. The anime movie will release in Winter 2025. Originally it would’ve released in Winter 2024, before it was delayed to next year.

Aniplex initially released the horror fantasy anime in 2011, and over the years, it has received several anime, movie, and video game spin-offs. Aniplex released the first two Madoka Magica movies in 2012, with the third released in 2013. All three movies and the original anime series are available in the West.
