IzanagiGames and Acquire announced AMEDAMA is fully available now on PC via Steam, meaning that the game’s version 1.0 update is live. The full release includes all of the content introduced in prior updates, along with additional fixes.

According to IzanagiGames, the game’s version 1.0 release includes bug fixes for the tutorial stage in French and Spanish language environments, a text display failure in the Korean language environment, and an issue where the screen remains white and unresponsive during a specific event. More bug fixes and improvements were applied, and the game’s overall performance has been improved.

The previous AMEDAMA update brought Memory Quests, which allow players to experience the past memories of key characters they’ve defeated. Completing Memory Quests rewards the player with a keepsake. Each keepsake obtained reduces the Soul Glow depletion rate by 1%. The update also introducing the Chinchirorin mini-game at the gambling den. It’s a simple game where players roll three dice to determine the outcome. A win or loss is determined by the numbers on the three dice.

As noted in Final Weapon’s AMEDAMA early access review, the game came a long way in development. A pre-release update for the game and demo added character voices, controller vibration support, and several quality-of-life improvements. Now that the game is fully available, it’s sure to be a hidden gem in 2024.

AMEDAMA is available now on Steam with a limited-time 10% discount, and a Nintendo Switch version will release on November 21 worldwide. In Japan, the Nintendo Switch version of AMEDAMA will be sold physically and digitally.
