Introduction to Visions of Mana Side Quests
You unlock side quests during Chapter 1 once you reach Longren. Your map guides you fairly well to each objective, just remember to check your map for icons and even revisit previously visited locations occasionally to see if there are any new sidequests.
As a basic aspect of the guide, I will refer to Meridians as easy landmarks. I’ll refer to a quest’s given area map, calling each Meridian by its number in the map list and location names.
Visions of Mana – All Chapter 1 Side Quests
Where are You, Shiriu? – Careena – Accepted as part of the story in Chapter 1: Veiled Misgivings. Completing this Side Quest acts as a tutorial and now Side Quests can be accessed throughout the story.

- Reward: Candy x 3
- Head out the south exit of the town. Stick to the left edge of the area map and you’ll make it to the destination in front of a windmill. Talk to Shiriu in front of the windmill. Return to Longren and report to Careena.
- Behind the Scenery 1 – Traveler Fiona – Longren
- Reward: Gold Clover x 10
- She’ll ask you to track down a location from a painting she shows you. Go to the Aery Passage and refer to your map. Head to the clifftop near the 3rd Meridian. Just follow the path left of the Meridian to go up the cliff. The event will trigger on the edge where you can see the cascading waterfalls on the cliffside across the map.

- Find and Replace – Windmill Maker Oroshi – Longren
- Reward: Healing Light
- Oroshi gives you two Windmill Components. Head to the Aery Passage. Stick to the right edge once you exit the town. You’ll wind up at the windmill where you met Shinriu. Speak to Arashee in front of the windmill. The next windmill is north, right to the direct west of the Longren entrance. Speak to Shigurei. Return to Longren and report to Oroshi.

- Fungus Finger Fun – Gourmand Toki – Longren
- Reward: Arrow Rain
- Head to the Aery Passage. Hunt down some Mushbooms and defeat them to get 3 of the Mushboom Finger Fungi item drop. There is a bunch that can be found going up the cliffside by the 3rd Meridian. Another batch is along the passage between the 1st and 2nd Meridians. You can even find one southeast of the 1st Meridian. Feel free to visit other area maps as well! Report back to Toki.

- Words on the Wind – Panicking Keshi – Longren
- Reward: 360 Lucre
- Head to the Aery Passage. Follow the left path south and nab the glowing red item orb by some trees. Return to Keshi.

- No Place Like Home – Hawker Huey – Fallow Steppe
- Reward: Purger of Evil
- You’ll find Huey in the southern part of the area map directly below the 2nd Meridian. He’ll ask you to slay some monsters at his homestead, so head directly southeast. You’ll find two molebears and the nemesis, Gem Valley Ochoro. Take out the molebears before focusing on the nemesis. He has a lot of attacks that cover a long distance. Use your Class Strike and Elemental Vessels to gain an advantage.

- Danger in the Dirt – Fruit Famer Marna – Fallow Steppe
- Reward: 1490 Lucre
- Marna can be found at the farm to the west of Rhata Harbor. Marna needs you to defeat some Lullabuds at the entrance of his farm. They come in waves but should pose no threat to you. Just let loose with some attacks!

- A Cascade of Critters – Traveling Carpenter Antonee – Rhata Harbor
- Reward: 1440 Lucre
- Antonee is behind a house moping. He wants you to go to Rime Falls to defeat some Sahagins. They’re located where you were ambushed in the story right before you hit the Fallow Steppe.

- A Force to Bee Reckoned With – Hospitable Baretta – Rhata Harbor
- Reward: Blessing of Water
- Baretta beseeched you to cull some Beelancer numbers. They can be found in Fallow Steppe to the northwest of the 1st Meridian.

- Behind the Scenery 2 – Traveler Fiona – Rhata Harbor
- Reward: 20 Gold Clovers
- Fiona has yet another painting that she wants you to suss out its origin. The area is the Fallow Steppe. The spot is north of the 1st Meridian and west of the 2nd Meridian on a cape that overlooks the ocean.

- Lost and Found – Nikoko the Town Beauty – Rhata Harbor
- Reward: Luck Sigil
- Nikoko’s lost hairpin is located by the tower on the hill south of the Fallow Steppe 2nd Meridian.
