Manga author Akira Amano first published Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective in 2020. The series has eleven volumes as of April 2023. Manga Plus currently publishes the manga digitally in English. The anime initially premiered on Crunchyroll in October 2023, with season 2 being announced two months later.

Additionally, they confirmed that Humbreakers will perform the OP, “Feedback o Narashite” (Playing Feedback). Hockrockb will perform the ED, “Labyrinth.” Yōhei Azakami will return as Ron Kamonohashi, while Yoshitsugu Matsuoka will return as the antagonist, Mylo Moriarty.
