Square Enix has shared a new PV on its official YouTube Channel ahead of the release of the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Orchestral Arrangement Album. The PV features three tracks, which include both ‘Main Theme of Final Fantasy VII – Battle Edit’ and ‘Cosmo Canyon – Sanctum of Planetology’.
This album will contain live, orchestrated recreations of popular Final Fantasy VII Rebirth tracks. Currently, it is set to release on August 28 in Japan. Pre-orders are now open. You can take a look at the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Orchestral Arrangement Album PV below:
Alongside this, the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Original Soundtrack was released on April 10, 2024. A total of 175 tracks were included, but this only scratches the surface of the full soundtrack. Dozens of tracks have likely been held off for an Original Soundtrack Plus release similar to Final Fantasy VII Remake. Both a Standard Edition and ~Special Edit Version~ of the OST are available. The ~Special Edit Version~ contains all music exclusive to minigames and side quests in the game.
Also streaming is the full version of ‘No Promises to Keep’, sung by Loren Allred and composed by Nobuo Uematsu. This track serves as the main theme for the game, making an appearance both during the credits and in-game at the Gold Saucer during the LOVELESS Play.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is available now exclusively for PlayStation 5. In case you missed it, be sure to check out our 5/5 review of the game, where we stated, “Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is a generational RPG that exemplifies everything there is to love about the medium.”
