Bandai Namco have released the Saiyan and Namek Sagas trailer for Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO. As the name suggests, the trailer reveals several playable characters for the main Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO roster from the Saiyan Saga and Namek Saga of Dragon Ball Z.
The following Saiyan Saga and Namek Saga characters were revealed in the latest Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO trailer:
- Saibamen
- Chiaotzu
- Cui
- Dodoria
- Zarbon
- Super Zarbon
- Nail
- Frieza (1st Form)
- Guldo
- Recoome
- Captain Ginyu
- Frieza (2nd Form)
- Frieza (3rd Form)
- Frieza (4th Form)
- Frieza (Full Power)

In Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO, players may choose among eight characters in Episode Battles and relive their stories. Players may create, play, and share their newly created scenarios with other players around the world in Custom Battles. Local Multiplayer lets players enjoy matches together within the Hyperbolic Time Chamber stage.

Pre-orders for Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO are available now for $69.99 with six character early unlocks for Gogeta, Gogeta (Super Saiyan), Gogeta (Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan), Broly (Dragon Ball Super), Broly (Dragon Ball Super, Super Saiyan), and Broly (Dragon Ball Super, Super Saiyan Full Power).
A mystery playable character is also included as a special pre-order bonus. Product listings reveal that the game will receive 20+ playable characters from Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero and Dragon Ball Daima.
Lastly, Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO will release on October 11 worldwide for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
