Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising recently revealed details of what more players can expect in update 1.50. On August 20, there will be a Battle Pass Round 5 that introduces a God Rabbit Gigamax lobby avatar and an Unadulterated Amour Belial outfit.

Additionally, players who want to experience side content can look forward to a new Grand Bruise! game and online lobby mini-game. In the upcoming Grand Bruise! game, “Slime Blaster,” players have to compete to defeat as many slimes as they can to reach the title of Supreme Slime Slyer. The online lobby mini-game, “Robomi: Epic Clash”, is a game that tests your reflexes by tasking the player to shoot monsters as soon as a signal happens.

Version 1.50 will also include a new episode for Story Mode Part 3, “When Tomorrow Comes”. Versusia, Rein, Gran, and Djeeta will engage in a final battle, closing off the game’s story in an epic finale.

Moreover, the upcoming DLC character Versusia will arrive on August 20 for patch 1.50. Alongside the additions listed above, here are some of the new content players can expect in the new patch:

    • New stage
    • Balance adjustments for entire roster
    • Grand Master Rank (Rank that is above Master Rank)

There is also a lobby connection check feature as well as a disconnect penalty that will punish people for disconnecting while in matches.

The battle adjustments for the entire roster will have a massive character rebalance rolling out this August. It will be GBVSR‘s biggest update yet, as it will include the fifth DLC character and new features for online modes.

Lastly, Vikala and Sandalphon were teased at EVO 2024. Vikala will be released in October 2024, and Sandalphon will be the first character to start Character Season Pass 2.
