There will be multiple EVO events in 2025, according to Richard “The Hadou” Thiher, the general manager of EVO. Here are the EVO locations listed below:
- EVO Los Angeles, California (FGC Award Show Happening in February)
- EVO Tokyo, Japan (May 9-11 at the Tokyo International Exhibition Center)
- EVO Las Vegas (August 1-3)
- EVO France (October 10-12)

EVO 2024’s tournament roster included Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, Guilty Gear: Strive, The King of Fighters XV, Mortal Kombat 1, Street Fighter III: Third Strike, Street Fighter 6, Tekken 8, and UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes.
Moreover, EVO 2024 had over 10,000 registered entrants, which breaks the record for the biggest esports event in history. There are 16,231 total bracket entries, and many games on the lineup have set huge records. EVO officials stated that the arcade, casual matches, and side tournament area was the largest in the tournament series’ history.
