GungHo Online Entertainment announced pre-orders for Collector’s Editions of Trails in the Sky the 1st Chapter will open on June 17. Two Collector’s Editions will be available: SteelBook Edition ($79.99) and Bracer Edition ($179.99).
The Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter SteelBook Edition will be available on launch day, September 19, while the Bracer Edition will be delivered between November 15 and December 15. However, the game and SteelBook Edition contents will be shipped separately to arrive by launch day.

A Launch Celebration Pack will be available to all players two weeks after the game’s launch for a one-month period, but it will always be available to those who purchase one of the two Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter Collector’s Editions. North American fans can pre-order the Standard Edition at retail and Collector’s Editions through Limited Run Games. European fans can pre-order the Standard Edition and the Collector’s Edition through Clear River Games and other major retailers.

Trails in the Sky the 1st Chapter launches September 19 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. GungHo’s worldwide release features Japanese and English voice-overs with Japanese, English, French, and German language options.
In Japan, a physical Standard Edition will be sold for 8,800 yen (tax included) and features “Estelle/Joshua Plush” DLC as a pre-order bonus. Moreover, physical pre-orders for Trails in the Sky the 1st Chapter for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 at major retailers, including Video Games Plus, Amazon (non-affiliate), GameStop, Best Buy, Walmart and Target.
Moreover, a physical “Bracer Box Edition” of Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter will cost 15,400 yen (tax included). Bracer Box Edition continues include the physical game, the Bright Family Memorial Photo Album, Classic Estelle/Joshua DLC, Junior Bracer antique pin, and the 400-page Encyclopedia of Liberl Kingdom. Pre-orders are available now at Falcom Shop.
In the west, Pin Box will sell a separate Trails in the Sky the 1st Chapter Bracer Supply Box merchandise set (excluding the game) for £199.99 / $273.49 in fall 2025. Pre-orders ran until May 29 at Pin Box, and it will only be produced for one run.
