Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising revealed new features are coming to update 1.50, such as a new Versus Rank called Grand Master. There is also a lobby connection check feature as well as a disconnect penalty that will punish people for disconnecting while in matches. More features for the upcoming patch will be announced at a later date.
Additionally, the fifth DLC character for GBVSR, Versusia, is currently playable at EVO 2024. The new character is playable alongside the pre-release demo of patch 1.50, which will have a massive character rebalance rolling out this August. It will be GBVSR‘s biggest update yet, as it will include the fifth DLC character and new features for online modes. Stay tuned for more information on this in the coming future.

Currently, at EVO 2024, Hideo Manaba, CEO of CyDesignation, is hosting a signing session at the Cygames booth. He is also the character designer for the Granblue Fantasy series, making him a huge guest appearance. Tetsuya Fukuhara and Cygames America CEO Motohiro Okuba will also have a signing session with special autographed illustrations.
Furthermore, players can look forward to a new character coming in October of this year. New game modes, minigames, and a bonus story will be released in the future. Stay tuned for more potential news coming at EVO 2024.
Additionally, Cygames announced the beginning of Arc World Tour 2024. This World Tour is happening for both online and offline GBVSR tournaments. Moreover, many tournaments will take place for this World Tour compared to the Arc World Tour 2023.
