Koei Tecmo and Kou Shibusawa announced tactical role-playing simulation game Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake will release on October 24. The game will release on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.
To celebrate the announcement, Koei Tecmo released a new key visual drawn by illustrator Keiji Hida, the artist behind the visuals of Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIV. A new trailer for Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake was also released today.

As previously discussed, Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake is based on the Japanese release of Romance of the Three Kingdoms VIII with Power Up Kit. The game includes the “All Officers Play” and “All Periods Scenarios” features. Further, players may experience all-new graphical and game system upgrades that help bring the title into the modern era of gaming. For example, the number of officers has been increased from 600 to 1,000. Newly added officers give way to new events and relationships that players can experience.
One of Kou Shibusawa’s latest releases was Nobunaga’s Ambition: Awakening for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam. This title brings players to the Warring States period of Japan as various leaders vie for the country’s unification. Read up on Final Weapon’s coverage of the game below:
