SNK announced that they will have a developer panel at EVO 2024 on July 19. This panel will feature details about the upcoming Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves and reveal the new special DLC character for The King of Fighters XV. SNK will reveal the exact timing and scheduling of the event at a later date.
Additionally, SNK announced that Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves will be playable at EVO 2024. This will be the first playable public demo of City of the Wolves in North America. Keep in mind that there will only be 15 minutes of playtime per person. Five characters will be playable, and the SNK booth will give gifts to many players.

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is the next major installment in the long-running Fatal Fury / GAROU fighting game series. The game will be released worldwide in early 2025, along with the beginning of SWC 2025. City of the Wolves will be playable at EVO 2024, along with the new Hunter x Hunter 2D fighting game. SNK fans attending EVO 2024 can expect to play the new Fatal Fury game while watching the King of Fighters XV tournament at the event.
King of Fighters XV is the latest installment in the iconic King of Fighters series, developed and published by SNK. Launched in 2022, KOFXV continues the series’ tradition of 3-on-3 team-based fighting gameplay, allowing players to select a team of three characters to compete in matches. The game features a robust roster of fighters, combining classic characters beloved by fans with new faces. It also has various game modes, including story mode, training, and an online mode with rollback netcode and cross-play.
Lastly, The King of Fighters XV is now available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Windows, Steam, and Epic Games Store. Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves releases in early 2025, platforms have yet to be announced.
