    EVO 2024, here we come!

    Published:

Mortal Kombat 1 will have a playable Takeda build at EVO 2024 on the weekend of July 19. This build will consist of upcoming fixes and balance patch changes with significant improvements to some characters and Kameos. Ed Boon, the director of Mortal Kombat 1, will reveal detailed notes on the Takeda build early next week.

Also, the developers surveyed many players’ feedback to see which characters and Kameos they think “could use the most love”. Characters such as Geras, Havik, Sub-Zero, and Nitara were among the popular ones. They also noticed that many fans want more Kameo fighters. Ed Boon wants fans to stay tuned for the future updates that address these feedbacks. For more information on the upcoming updates, check out Ed Boon’s X/Twitter thread.
