Famitsu has released 30 minutes of new gameplay footage for Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake. This new footage highlights overworld exploration and in-game combat before the game’s launch this November.
ARTDINK and Square Enix’s Team Asano are leading development of Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake and Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake, with series creator Yuji Horii serving as supervisor. These remakes will bring the entire Erdrick trilogy to the modern era, while vastly upgrading its visuals in a way that stays true to the classic RPGs.

Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake will release first on November 14 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Pre-orders are now available for the standard physical edition, the standard digital edition, and the Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake Collector’s Edition. Pre-orders will include the free Trouble-Free Travel Kit in the game, which contains an assortment of in-game items.
