The top 100 players in the EA Sports College Football 25 roster have been revealed. For the first time ever, real players and their stats will be available in a game focused on the beloved sport. This was previously not allowed prior to current NIL laws being implemented, which allows players to be paid for their name, image, and likeness.
Players from all conferences, including the SEC, Big 10, Big XII, ACC, Conference USA, and Pac 12, are all represented by players on this list. Will Johnson of the University of Michigan is the #1 ranked player, with a rank of 96. You can view the full College Football 25 Top 100 list here.
CampusIQ is the new group of features that make EA Sports College Football 25 stand out from its predecessors. Right off the bat, players will each have ratings that can fluctuate throughout matches, with teams also put into tiers. This, combined with new gameplay mechanics, allows for the game to capture the fast-paced nature of college football.
You’ll need to manage player health with the Wear & Tear system, which puts player management and health into your hands. After taking hits, players begin to wear down mid-game. This will require strategic decisions on keeping players in the game or taking them out to prevent a potential injury.
Another major feature of this game is Homefield Advantage. If you’ve been to any college football game, you know that the home team always has a massive advantage depending on the environment. EA has sought to capture that, with game-altering occurrences in some of the biggest stadiums around the nation. You might find the screen shaking, icons missing, or even play designs moving around.
EA Sports College Football 25 is set to launch on July 19 across PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
