    BLUELOCK Season 2 Reveals First Full Trailer

    During Anime Expo 2024, the staff behind BLUELOCK have released the first full trailer for season 2. The new season will air on October 5.

    Kodansha initially began serializing BLUELOCK in 2018. Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yūsuke Nomura’s series focuses on the Japanese Football (Soccer) Team trying to become the best in the world after finishing sixteenth in the 2018 World Cup. The anime adaptation is available on Crunchyroll, and the manga is available on Kodansha’s website. Further, a movie based on the series recently premiered in theaters, with the movie releasing in the West last month.

    UPDATE: According to Crunchyroll, season 2 will be available to watch on the streaming service when it airs.

    At a recent Anime Expo 2024 panel, the staff behind BLUELOCK revealed the first full trailer for season 2. The upcoming season will air on October 5 and feature several new cast members. Two of those include Satoshi Hino as Oliver Aiku and Akihisa Wakayama as Shūto Sendō. Check out the first full trailer for the season below:

The Japan Football Union is hell-bent on creating a striker who hungers for goals and thirsts for victory, and who can be the decisive instrument in turning around a losing match…and to do so, they’ve gathered 300 of Japan’s best and brightest youth players. Who will emerge to lead the team…and will they be able to out-muscle and out-ego everyone who stands in their way?
