Bandai Namco and CyberConnect2 announced that Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot surpassed a total of eight million copies sold worldwide, according to the game franchise’s Twitter account. The eight million in sales includes digital copies of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot and physical shipments.
Free updates and support for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will continue, and the most recent update brought a “Super” version of Hercule Satan. Previously, the development teased that more plans for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot were being prepared after the release of the game’s latest DLC.
The latest DLC, Goku’s Next Journey, sees Goku finally meet Uub ten years after the defeat of Majin Buu in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. Players will control Goku (Blue Gi) as he trains with Goten, battles Uub during the tournament, and even have a long-awaited rematch with Vegeta during the “End of Z” period.
Dragon Ball fans may also look forward for Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO, the latest game in the Budokai Tenkaichi series. The game will feature a massive roster of Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super characters, expansive Episode Battles, Custom Battles, Local Multiplayer, Battle Training mode, and more.
Pre-orders for Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO are available now for $69.99 with six character early unlocks for Gogeta, Gogeta (Super Saiyan), Gogeta (Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan), Broly (Dragon Ball Super), Broly (Dragon Ball Super, Super Saiyan), and Broly (Dragon Ball Super, Super Saiyan Full Power).
Lastly, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
