THQ Nordic has revealed that Epic Mickey: Rebrushed will launch on September 24. Additionally, they have revealed a collector’s edition for the upcoming remake.
Junction Point initially released Epic Mickey in 2010. Warren Spector, former developer on games such as Deus Ex and System Shock, sought to make a game inspired by Disney’s past and the aforementioned immersive sims. Nintendo and THQ Nordic initially announced the remake in February 2024. The game is now confirmed to be launching in the Fall.
Epic Mickey: Rebrushed Launching in Fall, Collector’s Edition Revealed
THQ Nordic has revealed that Epic Mickey: Rebrushed will launch on September 24. It will be available on all consoles upon release, alongside a $199.99 collector’s edition. The physical edition will include a 28 cm Mickey Mouse Statue, an Oswald the Lucky Rabbit Keychain, a vintage Mickey Mouse tin sign, six postcards, and a collector’s steelbook.
It also includes three costumes (Steamboat Willie, Brave Little Tailor, and Football Mickey), that can alternatively be unlocked via pre-ordering the game. Further, those who pre-order Epic Mickey Rebrushed on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch will have access to the game 24-hours early.
