Bandai Namco revealed new details about the story of Gundam Breaker 4 , and a new demo will be playable soon at Anime Expo 2024 in Los Angeles. Gundam fans will soon have more than 250 base kits to choose from in this new hack-and-slash action and model building game.
In the story of Gundam Breaker 4, players become a Gunpla hobbyist that participates in the beta test for the Gunpla Battle Simulator known as GUNPLA Battle Blaze: Beyond Borders (GB4). They meet to other enthusiasts, Tao and Lin, and form a clan to compete in the virtual action hub.
The trio will make new friends and rivals, grow their clan’s popularity, and work to earn an invite to the Battle Tournament, the biggest event of GB4. Players can also expect returning faces, such as Misa, the veteran who led the Ayato Shopping District Gunpla team in Gundam Breaker 3.
What’s more, Gundam Breaker 4 is a very notable entry, as it’s the first game in franchise history to feature English voiceovers alongside Japanese voiceovers at launch. A Gundam Breaker 4 demo will be available at Bandai Namco booth #2406 during Anime Expo 2024, which takes place July 4-7 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
Gundam Breaker 4 launches on August 29, and players may pre-order the physical Launch Edition, digital standard edition, Digital Deluxe Edition, or Digital Ultimate Edition on all platforms. Lastly, here’s an overview of the new title, courtesy of Bandai Namco:
