    Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake Arrives November 14, 2024

    During today’s Nintendo Direct, Square Enix revealed a new trailer for the Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake, with a release date of November 14, 2024. After the presentation, Square Enix confirmed that the game is set to release simultaneously across Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Both ARTDINK & Square Enix’s Team Asano developed this title, with support and oversight from Yuji Horii and the Dragon Quest team. 

    Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake was originally announced in 2021 as part of the Dragon Quest 35th Anniversary stream. The initial trailer revealed early looks at sprites, environments, and turn-based battles. With the new trailer, Square Enix has revealed new features that will be available in this release, including enhancements to gameplay, music, and more. Auto-battle and Battle Speed abilities will be present in this remake, allowing players to customize battles to their liking. 

    Both a physical standard edition and a Collector’s Edition of the game will be available. Pre-orders are now live at the Square Enix Store. The Collector’s Edition includes the following items:

    – Collectible Game Case Storage Box
    – Character & Monster Acrylic Blocks Complete Set
    – Adventurous Accessory Kit (In-game Item)
