Bandai Namco have suddenly released a PC (Steam) version of Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster on June 17. The PC release comes roughly nine months after the launch of the Nintendo Switch version.
Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster includes Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean and Baten Kaitos Origins from the Nintendo GameCube. These two RPGs have been enhanced and updated for modern displays, which output video in 16:9. Menu screens for each title have been updated as well.
Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster on Switch and PC via Steam also includes new features. These features include auto saves, a Help menu, and the New Game- and New Game+ modes. Six new game system options were added as well, such as no-encounter mode and adjustable game speed.
The Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster “Month 1 Edition” is available at a discounted price of $44.99 on Steam. This edition includes a digital artbook. The sale will end on July 1, and the price will return to $49.99.
