Koei Tecmo and Omega Force have released the version 1.0.1.0 update for Samurai Warriors 4 DX on PC via Steam, fixing several bugs that previously affected the game.
The latest Samurai Warriors 4 DX Steam update addresses an issue that made progression impossible when certain cutscenes played. Bugs affecting transparent bitmap images, English text, resolution settings, and soldier colors were also fixed. Moreover, the option to skip cutscenes in the first playthrough is now available.

- Fixed a bug making it impossible for players to progress when certain cutscenes played.
- Fixed a bug preventing transparent bitmap images from loading properly. (Some transparent bitmap images will not load.)
- Fixed a bug in which text was displayed incorrectly in the English version of the game.
- Fixed a bug restricting selectable resolution settings.
- Added the option to skip cutscenes from the first playthrough.
- Fixed a bug in which soldier colors were incorrect.
- Fixed other minor bugs.
