According to a recent listing on the Epic Games Store, Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 will be available on the online store. The game will launch on September 26.
In the original Earth Defense Force: World Brothers, players explore a parallel world made of digital blocks. The world is in pieces and its up to players to fight enemies and save Earth. If they don’t, the game’s antagonist, The Dark Tyrant, will destroy the pieces. Players defeated The Dark Tyrant in Earth Defense Force: World Brothers. Gaiark will emerge as a new threat in the upcoming sequel.

According to a new listing, Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 will be available on the Epic Games Store upon release. The game will also be available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and the Nintendo Switch. The Epic Games Store describes the game’s story as follows:
After Dark Tyrant was defeated, peace was restored on the square Earth—but now, it has been broken into pieces once again. We watched the skies, assuming any new enemies would come from above—which is why we were surprised when the supermassive “Gaiarch” emerged from below ground, shattering the Earth into pieces.
