SNK announced on its official X/Twitter account that The King of Fighters XV will reveal a brand new DLC character at EVO 2024. SNK revealed no other information, but stay tuned for the upcoming reveal.
Moreover, KOFXV players looking to attend a highly competitive event can register for EVO 2024. EVO 2024 will return to the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas from July 19-21, 2024. The arcade, casual matches, and side tournament area will be the largest in the tournament series’ history. The King of Fighters XV – New DLC Character to Be Revealed at Evo 2024
King of Fighters XV is the latest installment in the iconic King of Fighters series, developed and published by SNK. Launched in 2022, KOFXV continues the series’ tradition of 3-on-3 team-based fighting gameplay, allowing players to select a team of three characters to compete in matches. The game features a robust roster of fighters, combining classic characters beloved by fans with new faces. It also has various game modes, including story mode, training, and an online mode with rollback netcode and cross-play.
SNK is currently developing Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, the next major installment in the long-running Fatal Fury / GAROU series of fighting games. The game will be released worldwide in early 2025, along with the beginning of SWC 2025. Lastly, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves will be playable at EVO Japan 2024, along with the new Hunter x Hunter 2D fighting game. SNK fans attending EVO Japan 2024 can expect to play the new Fatal Fury game while watching the King of Fighters XV tournament at the event.
