GungHo Online Entertainment Files LET IT DIE: Inferno Trademark

The potential new title for Deathverse: Let It Die.

    Published:

GungHo Online Entertainment filed a new trademark for LET IT DIE: Inferno, which appears to be the new title for the redeveloped version of Deathverse: Let It Die. As previously revealed, Deathverse: Let It Die is being remade to be more like the original LET IT DIE, making it a roguelike exploration game.

According to Gematsu, the LET IT DIE: Inferno trademark was first filed on June 4. The Chizai-Watch listing indicates that trademark was made public on today, June 12, in Japan. An official announcement will come in the near future, so stay tuned.

Previously, services for Deathverse: Let It Die were suspended on July 18, 2023. At the time, Supertrick Games reveal its plans to “redevelop” the online action game and make major improvements. There was a lack of updates for the remainder of 2023, but a video released on May 6 saw Supertrick Games director Hideyuki Shin confirm that Deathverse: Let It Die will be a roguelike exploration game with co-op and PvP elements.

In addition, the game aims to combine the best elements of the original LET IT DIE game and the original concept for Deathverse: Let It Die, which was a PvP game at its core. Of course, the game will be an action game, and it will use LET IT DIE as its development base.

The original Deathverse: Let It Die released on September 28, 2022 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The game released on October 5, 2022 for PC via Steam. The console and PC versions had their services suspended on July 18, 2023.
