The game’s story mode will allow players to relive the sagas for both anime, but they also have the option to explore what-if routes that greatly change the story. In addition, players can create their own scenarios and share them with others online.

A mystery playable character is also included. Product listings reveal that the game will receive 20+ playable characters from Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero and Dragon Ball Daima.
Moreover, series executive producer Akio Iyoku is committed to 10 more years of Dragon Ball anime and games, which includes the new Dragon Ball Daima anime and Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO. Dragon Ball Daima will premiere in fall 2024 on Fuji TV.
