    No jumping allowed.

    Published:

Today at the OTK Games Expo, Mad Mushroom revealed a brand-new platformer named Splodey, which is available to play right now on Steam! This unique platformer has a major feature: there is no jump button! You’ll need to utilize momentum-based movements to navigate through over 100 levels.

Five different worlds are available to play in the game, with each containing 25 levels. There are also 16 secret levels that you can discover while playing the game. Overall, this platformer encourages creativity and offers loads of replayability with its many secrets.

This title comes from Send It Studios, a team of three. Liam Collins, the Lead Designer at Send It Studio, had the following to say on the release of Splodey: “The team behind Splodey is a group of three friends, speedrunners, and Twitch streamers who honestly can’t believe that we’ve just launched a game. We very literally could not have done this without the help and support of the Mad Mushroom team and the creators at OTK, whose feedback has been instrumental in shaping Splodey. We hope platforming fans will love Splodey for its explosive movement, challenging levels, and loads of secrets.”

We had the opportunity to check out Splodey prior to release, with our reviewer stating that the game is a “fun experience I can recommend to most who love platformers.” Be sure to check out our review here.
