HoYoverse announced the Honkai Impact 3rd Version 7.5 “Crusade of Chasing Shadows” update launches on June 6. The update will introduce playable character Lantern and her new battlesuit, Lone Destruction: Shadowchaser.
In Honkai Impact 3rd Version 7.5, the people of Langqiu will host a celebration for the reunion of the Seven Shus. The awakened Shus will work together to resolve a calamity and stop Langqui and Oxia from being destroyed. According to Baiji, Songque holds the key to ending this crisis, which will be the focus of the new story chapter: A Crime Foretold.
Lantern is one of the Seven Shus, and she takes her role and responsibilities seriously. In battle, Lantern uses her rapid-shot crossbow, shotgun, and SMG for attacks. Her new S-rank battlesuit Lone Destruction: Shadowchaser is a PSY-type fire DMG dealer. As team leader, those on standby will become Phantoms to provide support in battle. Attacks by Phantoms recover Concentrated Blast Energy and provide her with buffs. Meanwhile, Lantern can activate her teammates’ Resonance Marks and boost overall firepower on a Resonance team.
The Don’t Look Back arcade will open in Oxia after the version update launches. Players can go to the arcade and join in on the Non-Stop Stage Clears carnival. Two games will be available in the arcade: brick-breaking game Shadow Breaker and adventure game Escape the Shadow Peril.
Lantern’s Battlesuit Supply will be 50% for the first ten drops when Version 7.5 launches. Of course, players can gain free rewards from login events and bonuses as well. As a reminder, a controller collaboration between Honkai Impact 3rd and Razer is also coming soon.
