    Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Behind-the-Scenes Developer Interview Released

    A new extensive dive into the development of one of 2024's greatest titles.

    Square Enix has released the next episode of ‘Inside Square Enix’, with this episode focused on the development of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. This 90-minute video dives into just how this massive title was developed, with Director Naoki Hamaguchi, Co-Director Motomu Toriyama, Art Director Shintaro Takai, and Battle Director Teruki Endo participating in the discussion.

    The video is broken up into segments that go over topics such as reactions to the game’s release, priorities and focuses for voice acting, deep dives into how the team recreated locations, and more. Development footage and concept art are even shown, with sneak peeks at what the game looked like through various stages of development.     Final Fantasy VII Rebirth released on February 29. The game is a direct sequel to Final Fantasy VII Remake, acting as the second part of the Final Fantasy VII Remake project. Development of the third title is well underway, with the team set to conclude this trilogy.
