    Out this September.

Sony has announced that God of War Ragnarok is headed to PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on September 19. This port will feature unlocked frame rates, NVIDIA DLSS support, super ultrawide support, and more. The Valhalla DLC is also included, and the PC version requires a PlayStation Network to play.

God of War Ragnarok initially launched for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in 2021. In our 4.5/5 review, we stated, “God of War Ragnarok makes use of cinematic techniques and skilled actors to tell its story of holding on and letting go. But it doesn’t feel beholden to cinematic trappings. It’s proud of its history and medium and plays sublimely as a result. With a focus on fun and flow, God of War Ragnarok’s bloody and beautiful pieces fit together swimmingly.”

Today’s PlayStation State of Play kicks off a month-long string of announcements from the entire video games industry. Next week, Summer Game Fest 2024 is set to premiere live from Los Angeles, with over 55 partners confirmed for the event. Following that presentation, Day of the Devs: Summer Game Fest 2024 Edition will premiere, with a Devolver Direct scheduled afterward.

Xbox will then host its Xbox Games Showcase 2024 on Sunday, followed by the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Direct, which is set to showcase a massive amount of information on the new title. Nintendo has also confirmed it will showcase new games with a June Nintendo Direct, but a date has not been confirmed at this time.
