Nippon Ichi Software has officially announced that the Rhapsody: 25th Anniversary Collection will release on August 29. It is currently unknown if/when the Western version will release.
Nippon Ichi Software initially released the first Rhapsody game in 1998. A collection, titled Rhapsody: Marl Kingdom Chronicles, launched on August 29, 2023 as a remastered collection featuring Rhapsody II: Ballad of the Little Princess and Rhapsody III: Memories of Marl Kingdom. The collection was sold physically and digitally in North America and Europe by NIS America. The upcoming collection will celebrate the franchise’s 25th anniversary.

Nippon Ichi Software has officially confirmed the existence of Rhapsody: 25th Anniversary Collection. The announcement comes after a website opened related to the title in January. The game will release in Japan on August 29, alongside a 10,978 yen physical edition. It will be available for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5. The collection will include Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure and Rhapsody II: Ballad of the Little Princess. It will also include Rhapsody III: Memories of Marl Kingdom.
