    Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.48 Adds New Cars, World Circuit Events

    Japanese GT has its time to shine.

    Sony Interactive Entertainment and Polyphony Digital announced Gran Turismo 7 update 1.48 is now available with five new cars, a newly added Extra Menu, and multiple new World Circuit events. 

    Gran Turismo 7 update 1.48 adds five Japanese and Swedish cars to the ever-expanding lineup: Honda Civic SiR・II (EG) ’93, Honda NSX GT500 ’00, Nissan Skyline GTS-R (R31) ’87, Volvo 240 SE Estate ’93, and Volvo V40 T5 R-Design ’13. To emphasize the addition of the NSX GT500 ’00, a new Extra Menu will focus on Japanese GT race cars. Moreover, four new World Circuit Events will see players race in European and Japanese tracks.

    1. Five era-defining Japanese and Swedish cars join the lineup.

    • Honda Civic SiR・II (EG) ’93
    • Honda NSX GT500 ’00
    • Nissan Skyline GTS-R (R31) ’87
    • Volvo 240 SE Estate ’93
    • Volvo V40 T5 R-Design ’13

    2. An Extra Menu will be added to the Café.

    3. New World Circuits events.

    The following events will be added to World Circuits.

    • European Sunday Cup 400
      • Kyoto Driving Park – Yamagiwa
    • Japanese FF Challenge 450
      • Autopolis International Racing Course – Short Course
    • Japanese FR Challenge 450
      • Autodrome Lago Maggiore – West
    • World Touring Car 800
      • Circuit de Sainte-Croix – A

    4. “Move the camera up and down II” will be a featured Curation in Scapes.

    Gran Turismo 7 will continue to receive major updates on a near-monthly basis, so players can expect more cars, race events, and features to arrive.

    Lastly, Gran Turismo 7 is available now for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
