    Fatshark Shares New Updates on Warhammer: Vermintide 2 & Warhammer 40,000: Darktide

    New updates arrive.

    Fatshark has shared major updates for both Warhammer: Vermintide 2 & Warhammer 40,000: Darktide during Warhammer Skulls 2024. 

    Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is set to release its next update, “Secrets of the Machine God”, on June 25. This will release across PC and Xbox Series X|S. Here, you’ll be able to tackle a new mission where you explore a research station in Atelium Foundryplex Omega V, and you can unlock new weapons. Whether you elect to choose the new Bolt Pistol, Shotgun, Ogryn Pickaxes, or Shockmauls, you’re guaranteed a great time.

    In addition, a new game event pilot called “Hestia’s Fecollation Crusade” will launch, allowing players to destroy swarms of heretics and earn free in-game currency. Take a look at the new trailer below.

    Next, Fatshark also shared a new look at Warhammer: Vermintide 2 and its upcoming update. The game will receive a quality-of-life update called the Winds of Magic update, featuring a new loadout system, fixes to known bugs, and updates to many more areas. Additionally, the Skulls for the Skull Throne in-game event will take place starting today, May 23, and last through June 9. All players, regardless of platform, can hop in and earn free rewards for their game.

    Lastly, owners of Warhammer: Vermintide 2 can participate and experience the next Versus Alpha test that is set to take place between May 30 and June 9. This Alpha will only be available on PC and will allow players to take on the first boss, the Bile Troll.

    Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is available now on Xbox Series X|S and PC. Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is available across Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam.
