Activision has officially announced & confirmed that the next Call of Duty title is Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. This comes in advance of the full reveal, which is just over two weeks away. Black Ops 6 is a collaborative development effort between Treyarch and Raven Software, similar to Black Ops Cold War. The latter will handle the campaign, with Treyarch in charge of multiplayer, zombies, and other modes.
Background images on the Black Ops 6 website mention the Gulf, referring to the Gulf War. The Gulf War was a conflict between Iraq and the Coalition of the Gulf War, set in the Middle East. This title was rumored for years to be based on that war, and it’s now confirmed straight from the source. On June 9, Xbox will host the Xbox Games Showcase. This event will be followed by the Black Ops 6 Direct, where the first look at the game will be revealed in full.
