    BLUELOCK Season 2 Officially Announced, Airing in October

    Just in time for the anime's film adaptation to release worldwide.

    The official Twitter/X account for the BLUELOCK anime franchise has officially confirmed that season 2 is in development. The series will air in October. To commemorate the announcement, the social media account released a new illustration.

    Kodansha initially began serializing BLUELOCK in 2018. Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yūsuke Nomura’s series focuses on the Japanese Football (Soccer) Team trying to become the best in the world after finishing sixteenth in the 2018 World Cup. The anime adaptation is available on Crunchyroll, and the manga is available on Kodansha’s website. Further, a movie based on the series recently premiered in theaters, with the movie coming to the West in June.

Who will emerge to lead the team…and will they be able to out-muscle and out-ego everyone who stands in their way?

    Lastly, BLUELOCK Season 2 will air in October 2024. The anime’s staff will reveal more details about season 2 in the coming months. BLUELOCK -Episode Nagi- is available to watch today in Japanese theaters. The film will release in Western theaters on June 6. Additionally, a mobile game, titled BLUELOCK Project: World Champion is available now. People can play the free-to-play title on both iOS and Android.
