    Monogatari Off Season & Monster Season Premieres in July 2024

    A new promotional video (PV) for Monogatari Off Season and Monogatari Monster Season confirms that the anime series will premiere on July 6, 2024. YOASOBI will perform the anime’s theme song.

    Shortly after the premiere of Kizumonogatari: Koyomi Vamp in theaters, Aniplex teased a new anime series would be revealed. This anime series turned out to be anime adaptations of Monogatari Off Season and Monster Season, or Orokamonogatari and Nademonogatari. A countdown on the anime’s official website ended on May 2, revealing that YOASOBI is performing the official theme song. 

    Monogatari Off Season & Monster Season Premiere

    Monogatari Off Season and Monogatari Monster Season will premiere on Saturday, July 6 on the ABEMA streaming service in Japan. YOASOBI will perform the theme song “Undead,” and the latest PV plays a portion of the song. A worldwide distributor for the anime, such as Crunchyroll, was not announced.

    The new anime series are currently being produced at SHAFT, with staff from the original Monogatari anime returning. Akiyuki Simbo is the chief director for Monogatari Off Season and Monster Season, with Midori Yoshizawa serving as director. Simbo is working with Fuyashi Tou to oversee the scripts. Once more, Akio Watanabe will be character designer and chief animation director.
