Square Enix confirms that Final Fantasy XVI version 1.32 will release on May 9 with various bug fixes for the game and its DLC.
Final Fantasy XVI players gain access to the new content of The Rising Tide DLC once Origin is available as a destination on the world map and the quest “Priceless” is completed. The DLC gives players to a new questline that takes them to Mysidia and other new areas, such as Kairos Gate and the Aire of Hours. The release of the new DLC was not bug free on April 18, however.

Players may obtain the Curtana alongside the “Torn from the Heavens” and “Through the Maelstrom” Orchestrion Rolls by purchasing the Rising Tide or the Final Fantasy XVI Expansion Pass.
Lastly, Final Fantasy XVI is available now for PlayStation 5. A PC version is set to be released sometime in the near future. In case you missed it, be sure to check out the upcoming UNIQLO x Final Fantasy XVI collaboration.
