CyberConnect2 revealed their roadmap for future Naruto x Boruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections updates. Additionally, the developers went over the big changes they made in the previous 1.20 patch.

Storm Connections released patch 1.20 on March 27, making many adjustments that players asked for. Armored ninjutsus were nerfed, leader change outprioritizes support ninjutsu, and the recovery speed of the support gauge was increased. Furthermore, CyberConnect2 created a survey that collected players’ feedback on the current state of the game. According to the developers, many players were satisfied with the overall battle balance adjustments. CyberConnect2 believes that there is still room for improvement and that more patches are planned for the future.

CyberConnect2 already has versions 1.30 and 1.40 of Naruto x Boruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections planned out. Version 1.30 was already devised before the survey, so there won’t be any changes in that patch that directly address the feedback. The goal of the 1.30 patch is to improve the usability of some characters, such as giving Taka Sasuke the ability to chakra dash after an air combo.

On the other hand, 1.40 will consists of changes that are based on the feedback of the survey. The developers noted that they want to make the game better than ever before, so they will keep considering fan feedback in future patches. CyberConnect2 did not reveal when both of these patches will release, but stay tuned. In the meantime, players can experience patch 1.20 right now.
