The official website for Grendizer U has revealed that the series will air in July 2024. Further, they revealed new members of the series’ cast and the opening theme for the anime via a new trailer.
UFO Robo Grendizer is the third entry in Nagai’s Mazinger mecha franchise. Titled Grendizer, Nagai released the original anime in 1975. The upcoming Grendizer U anime is described as a reboot of the original anime. Go Nagai initially announced the series in August 2023 and revealed more members of the cast in November. The last trailer released in December.
Grendizer U Releasing in July 2024, New Cast and Opening Theme Revealed
A recently revealed trailer for the upcoming Grendizer U showcased the series’ opening theme. Glay will perform the theme, “Kaishin no Ichigeki” (Critical Hit). It also confirmed more members of the series’ cast. Further, Grendizer U will air in July 2024. Check out the new trailer below:

“Duke Fleed is a survivor of the Vega Star, raised by Dr. Umon as his adoptive son, and known as Daisuke Umon on Earth.
