Arc System Works announced Slayer as the next DLC character for Guilty Gear Strive. The legendary Guilty Gear veteran arrives to the game on May 30. This news comes from EVO Japan 2024, where many fighting game tournaments were held.
Last month, Arc System Works teased a new character for season 4, which excited many players. However, some fans felt the character’s silhouette looked very familiar, speculating that it could be Slayer. We now have official confirmation that it was Slayer, and Arc System Works just released his trailer.
Guilty Gear Strive – Slayer Is the New Daredevil!
Slayer is a character from the Guilty Gear series who was first introduced in Guilty Gear XX. Similar to Nagoriyuki, he is a powerful vampire with a charming demeanor. Arriving to Guilty Gear Strive now, Slayer will be the last character added in season 3. Like previous characters, he will be available for $6.99 separately or included with Season Pass 3 ($24.99).
Players may also look forward to the “Amber Fest with Kind Neighbors” stage. Furthermore, Arc System Works noted that Slayer’s release will not come with any battle balance adjustments. For those looking forward to season 4, you can expect the upcoming 3v3 mode to be added along with more new characters.
