LittleBigPlanet 3 Servers Are Now Indefinitely Offline

    The end of an era.

PlayStation has announced that the online servers for LittleBigPlanet 3 have officially gone offline indefinitely. The announcement comes a few months after the company temporary took it offline because of technical issues. This means that access to player creations over the last sixteen years are no longer available.

The LittleBigPlanet franchise initially began in 2008 with the release of the original game on the PlayStation 3. Over the years, the game would receive several spinoffs, sequels, and even a 3D-platformer titled Sackboy: A Big Adventure. In the original LittleBigPlanet and its sequels, LittleBigPlanet 2 and 3, players could create levels and even entire games. With LittleBigPlanet 3‘s servers now offline, every level that anyone has ever created for the series is now gone.
